At Stexcel Inc., we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which the JewelryID app collects, uses, maintains, and discloses information obtained from users of the app.

Information Collection and Use

1.1 Photos and Image Recognition: JewelryID uses image recognition technology to match photos taken by users with items in the vendor's catalog. When users take a photo using the app, the photo will be shared with the specific vendor(s) they have given access to.
1.2 Personal Information: For the proper functioning of the app, JewelryID may collect the following personal information from users: name, email address, company (optional), and phone number. This information is collected to enhance user experience, provide customer support, and communicate important updates or information related to the app.
1.3 Vendor Access: Users' personal information, including their name, email, company, and phone number, will only be shared with vendors who have a pre-existing relationship with the user and to whom the user has explicitly given consent for this information to be shared. Vendors will only be able to access this information for the purposes of providing personalized customer support and improving their services to users.
1.4 No Sale to Third Parties: Stexcel Inc. guarantees that users' personal information will not be sold, rented, or otherwise disclosed to third parties for marketing or any other purposes without the explicit consent of the user.

Information Sharing and Disclosure

2.1 Sharing with Vendors: In addition to the photos taken by users, vendors with whom the user has a pre-existing relationship and to whom they have given consent will have access to the user's name, email, company (if provided), and phone number. This information sharing is intended to facilitate communication and enhance the user's experience with vendors' products and services.
2.2 Aggregated Data: Stexcel Inc. may aggregate non-identifiable user data, including app usage patterns and user interactions, for statistical purposes, market research, and app improvement. This aggregated data will not contain any personally identifiable information and will not be linked to specific users.
2.3 Legal Requirements: Stexcel Inc. may disclose user information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal requests, such as a court order, subpoena, or government investigation.

Data Security

Stexcel Inc. takes data security seriously and implements reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect user data, including personal information, from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

User Control and Choices

4.1 Vendor Access: Users have full control over which vendors they grant access to their personal information within the app. At any time, users can revoke access for a vendor, preventing them from viewing their personal information.
4.2 Deleting Data: Users can delete their personal information from the app at any time. Deletion will remove their personal information from the vendor's view.
4.3 Deleting Account: Users can delete their account entirely by sending an email to info@stexcel.com.

Children Under Thirteen

Stexcel does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this application.

Stexcel Holds your Personal Information on Servers Located in the United States

All data, including Personal and General Information, that is entered into the Services by You, or automatically imported on Your instruction, is transferred to Stexcel’s servers as a function of transmission across the Internet. By using the Services, You consent to Your Personal Information being transferred to Our servers as set out in this Policy. Currently Our servers are located in the United States, and Your Personal Information will be routed through, and stored on, those servers as part of the Services. If the location of Our servers change in the future, We will update this Policy. You should review Our Policy regularly to keep informed of any updates.

By providing Your Personal Information to Stexcel, You consent to Stexcel storing Your Personal Information on servers hosted in the United States. While Your Personal Information will be stored on servers located in the United States, it will remain within Stexcel’s effective control at all times. The server host’s role is limited to providing a hosting and storage service to Stexcel, and We have taken steps to ensure that Our server hosts do not have access to, and use the necessary level of protection for, Your Personal Information.

If You do not want Your Personal Information to be transferred to a server located in the United States, You should not provide Stexcel with Your Personal Information or use the Services.

E-mail Communications

From time to time, Stexcel may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmation, surveys, and/or other general communication. In order to improve our Services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from Stexcel or click on a link therein. If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications via email from Stexcel, you may opt out of such communications by clicking on the UNSUBSCRIBE button.

External Data Storage Sites

We may store your data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted.

Changes to this Statement

Stexcel reserves the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your account, by placing a prominent notice on our application, and/or by updating any privacy information.
